Hours: Monday-Friday / 8:00am-5:00pm
General Description:Coordinates the functions of recruiting, selection, and hiring of employees; plans and organizes employee programs and events; counsels and consults with employees and managers; and serves as a liaison between corporate HR office in Wichita and branch locations in Northeast and North Central Kansas.Position offices out of Prairie Village, Kansas, branch.
Essential Functions: Responsibilities include conducting structured phone interviews to pre-screen applicants, interviewing, and assisting management with the hiring for all job openings, and extending offers of employment to successful candidates.Consults with managers on various employment-related issues, and regularly attends departmental meetings.Presents new employee orientation sessions; conducts exit interviews with terminating employees; and assists with coordinating employee relations activities in respective regions.Assist with employee retention program by conducting follow-up phone calls to managers and newly hired employees.
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities: High school diploma required. Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or Business Management preferred.Minimum two years experience in recruiting and staffing is required, as well as general human resource experience.Excellent oral and written communication skills and a desire to provide the highest level of customer service to our employees and applicants are essential.Basic knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Access, and PowerPoint is required.
